SONY disabled hardware virtualization on some laptops by providing these laptops with rudimentary BIOS Unlike typical BIOS, the BIOS provided simply did not have the feature for users to enable or disable hardware virtualization. But thanks to an assortment of Internet hacks, it is possible to enable hardware virtualization on some VAIO laptops.
